Voting is an opportunity for every American citizen to join the quest for a better America. Although the presidential election occurs every four years and garners a spike in voter turnout, the most important elections are those for Senators, Representatives and local officials. The Brothers of Rho Xi Chapter continuously uplift the community through voter registration, education and mobilization. On June 19, 2017, Rho Xi Chapter secured a booth to register residents of Brazoria County at the 31st Annual Brazoria County Juneteenth Celebration in Angleton, TX. Bro. Terry Gordon of Rho Xi Chapter, was deputized to register members of the Brazoria County community as voters. The Brothers of Rho Xi Chapter had sample voting machines on display so that new voters would know what to expect when exercising their right to vote.
