Multiple Sclerosis (MS), an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body. Symptoms range from blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, slurred speech, tremors, numbness, extreme fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, blindness and more. On April 29-30, 2017 Rho Xi Chapter was more than happy to support Bro. Omar Sesay as he rode in the BP MS 150, a two-day fundraising bike ride from Houston, TX to Austin, TX organized by the National MS Society, South Central Chapter. The ride is the largest event of its kind in North America, with 13,000 cyclists, 3,500 volunteers and countless spectators along the route and at the finish line. Bro. Sesay raised $590 for groundbreaking research and life-changing programs for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
