Rho Xi Chapter and Nu Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held their 18th Annual Memorial Weekend Boat Ride at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX on Sunday, May 28, 2017. The event began eighteen years ago to generate funds for scholarships awarded to students from the surrounding counties and continues to serve its original purpose. Approximately 800 family and friends, from near and far, gathered for the scholarship fundraiser. In addition to the annual boat ride, the Brothers hosted a Memorial Weekend Day Party in Houston, TX on Saturday, May 27, 2017. The men of Omega served crawfish, provided a DJ and fellowshipped with approximately 300 attendees.
