Career Day creates a critical link between the classroom and the workplace by allowing students to explore various career options so they can make informed career choices. Career Day also benefits the students by exposing them to various careers. The Brothers of Rho Xi Chapter accepted an invitation to participate in the Stafford Elementary School Career Day on January 26, 2017. The speakers shared the importance of schoolwork with students and gave background on the type of education required for specific careers. The Brothers expressed the importance of staying in school, working hard and having a good attitude. The students were excited to learn about the respective careers of the presenters via a question and answer session. Stafford Elementary Principal Bro. Jeffery Williams stated, “Many students express that, for the first time, they are motivated to do better in school after learning from a presenter who shared their own personal struggles and provided a road map to achievement and success.”
